ParaScale Products Overview

ParaScale is a software-only solution to create, manage and power cloud storage. We do not host online storage for websites or create a heavily modified Linux kernel. Instead we provide a software application than runs in user space on multiple standard Linux servers. The result is a highly scalable self-managing storage cloud, with massive capacity and parallel throughput. ParaScale was built to address the needs of emerging markets while being able to scale to hundreds of nodes in a loosely coupled architecture similar to the google file system. We do not require custom or dedicated hardware and can leverage existing IP networking interconnections. The ParaScale Cloud Storage (PCS) software aggregates the direct-attached disks on multiple servers that deliver petabyte-scale file storage in a single namespace. This software is available on x86 servers running standard Linux.
